Tagebuch über die Tour in 2008

In 2008 schreibt Alex wieder einmal eine Menge in seinem Online-Tagebuch. Diesmal über die kürzlich stattgefundene Tour in Brasilien. Seine erste Tour als Solo-Künstler. 

Leider können wir euch aufgrund der Menge keine deutsche Übersetzung hier liefern. Alex schreibt einfach zu viel!

Tour Diary - 22 bis 29 Juni 2008

It was hard to get out of bed….very hard. I wasn't feeling so great. I packed up and went down to the hotel restaurant to get some food before we left. Literally the first bite of food swallowed and my stomach was like "noooo, I hate you". GOD DAMN SALAD last night! I had some sort of stomach flu, that was for sure. And for crazy childhood/brain reasons unknown, that's my trigger for anxiety and panic attacks which I've dealt with all my life unfortunately.Anyone know what I'm talking about? Sucks balls, I'll tell you that. Anyway, I was fucked up...
 

Tour Diary - 18 bis 21 Juni 2008

Wow, that was insane. Both exciting and frightening. Fun and scary. Strange and familiar. Like any tour it had its ups and downs…but this one also had its side to sides. We were on top of the world one minute, then being held hostage the next, seriously. It was a love-hate relationship for me and my stomach. A pure hate relationship for me and my body. But a true and overwhelmingly strong love relationship for me and, well, my brain. Yes, I've played some shows over the last 4 years while being stuck in this "solo album" never-ending cycle, but I haven't TOURED…. And this was a TOUR...
 
 

Tour Diary - 30 Juni bis 6 Juli 2008

Today was a press day, just Globo TV, the biggest network in Brazil. We were supposed to go by there for an hour or so to play a couple songs on some show…but of course it turned into a day long excursion. Globo TV is this massive empire in the middle of nowhere….like a Brazilian "Universal Studios". You get on golf carts and get driven around, there's a huge food court, and it's all bustling with people and multiple studios of shows. I had been here a couple times before...
